Thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign page. The fact you’ve taken interest in this election speaks volumes, and I can’t thank you enough. Following the process, learning about candidates and making informed votes truly makes a difference for our community….it ensures we remain the exceptional city so many call home.
I’m running for re-election because, like you, my family and I care about Olathe. It’s important that our city remains the best place in America to live and raise a family…according to the most important judges, our taxpayers.
Our community’s success isn’t just our secret, but publications and websites like Money Magazine and MyLife consistently rank us that way.
How do we do it? Most of all it’s people like you who care and are engaged in our community with those you elect. In Olathe, we listen to you, and we make sure no voice is more important than the voice of our residents.
I’m proud to lead a government that sets the standard of accountability, openness and transparency. After all, it’s your money we are spending, and it must be you telling us where you want it invested. It is you that continually makes sure we remain the fiscally conservative, yet cutting edge city we are today.
I invite you to spend more time learning about why I’m running and why I want to keep Olathe on the course we’re on today. I also invite you to visit the city’s website, OlatheKs.org for further information. In particular, you can view the accountable government section, where you can find information about performance and accountability.
But most of all, I enjoy hearing directly from you, so please feel free to call me directly at 913-269-6303, or send an email at CopelandForMayor@gmail.com.
